Uploaded a new version before the deadline... It just fixes some graphical glitches :)
graphics are very C64 like.. love it!, very nice, enjoyed it and completed it ;)
Sweet - love the music, top notch. And great simple communication of a story without the usual excessive pontification.
Very nice! I really like the colors and music. The overall mood is superb.
Works great. I like the art and love the music. Reminds me of Super Metroid.
This is excellent! The style is pretty out there. I felt like I was playing an old school adventure game at first. I really liked the animations. The pacing feels a bit slow, but none the less its a good game.
Beautiful ^_^. I wish I was given an objective, as I was just wandering around, exploring for the heck of it - also I wish there was a way to regain health. Nice atmosphere.
Good old school feel, and really nice art effects - the spores exploding when they die, and the locks... er, unlocking! Great!
I would have loved this as a child on a gameboy or snes or something
such a classic experience - well done :D
Whoops. Yeah, I'd uploaded a new copy of the source because the old one had the wrong readme. Guess I forgot to update the link. Fixed!
Bam. Definitely the most COMPLETE entry I've played. Music fit, lots of baddies, great graphics, good balanced gameplay, story, everything. Perfect entry minus innovation and humour. I also rated fun a 4, everything else 5 stars.
The limited graphicstyle is really nice. It would be a lot easier, if the movement is free.
Good job. Don't know how you did all this in 48 hours, this is a lot of content.
Great work! Very impressive. You got a lot of gameplay out of a short time. I love the graphics and music.
My wife was urging me to make a game about serving the queen ant. She'll be excited to play it.
Whoa, it's like this game was lifted straight out of the SNES era. And I mean that as the highest compliment. Excellent work. So impressive.
Awesome pallete and background graphics, music and sound effects were good and very fitting to the game style!
I loved the explosion animations and also how the keyholes worked!
I'm not sure if I understood what happened at the ending, but it I did, then the ending was awesome XD
Love the graphics! The gameplay wasn't particularly fun, but I enjoyed the ending.
I absolutely loved the music and the pixel art. I felt like because there were so many spores to kill that it got very repetitive, although I enjoyed the story aspect and for the time limitation, it's a decently lengthy polished adventure.
Very very cool! I have to say I really loved the music and the artwork! The only problems I had were that the collision detection was only for the bottom half of the ant, I think it should have been for the whole ant, and it would have been a lot cooler if there was an actual sword attack animation instead of the particles. Other than those two things, I really liked this game!
It is hard to believe that you've done this in just 48 hours. The mood is excellent and that music, oh the music! I really enjoyed it and the only complain I have is that is too short :-P
Very nice game! Love the good pixel art graphics and the music fits well the game. :)
One of my favorite entries in the audio department. The songs really create mood.
Fantastic game with beautiful visuals and great ambiance. The ending gave me a bit of a chuckle, too. My biggest complaint? The controls. When holding down and left I expected to move on a diagonal or at least a zig-zag pattern. Other than that though, a great entry.
Nice and complete, nice aesthetics and music (though the spores look funny). The collision box was non intuitive though, and the enemy placement at times felt gratuitous. Also no diagonal movement.
great game. I suppose the end was inevitable but it was still pretty cool. I loved the sprite work and the music.
this is on of my favorites for sure. the palette and graphics are top notch.
Nice graphics and interesting choice of colors. I liked the "story" as well!
What a fun little adventure! Sweet palette and graphics. The effect animations are amazing. I commend you for writing new music for each screen, and each of these loops is well orchestrated. You seriously got a lot done in 48 hours! Respect.
This is really fun and well-polished. Some minor things like getting health back and being able to move diagonally would have been nice, and upgrades and different enemy types would take this game to the next level. Great work.
I think this pretty well captures the life of an ant, really. Nicely done!

Fantastic! I got chills at the end!
