April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
Well I slacked off all wekend and managed to whip this up within the last 6-7 hours, so here you go. There's no background music but there is sfx, I tested with headphones so the volume might be low.
INSTRUCTIONS:
arrow keys to move on the grid. the wavy tiles slow you down.
Get across the level and reach the exit to win! it's pretty simple.
I had a grand old time this weekend slacking off with a tinge of game-making, and I salute all of you who put in the whole 48 hour effort. I might work on this a bit more and get a polisheder version for the jam tomorrow, but we'll see.
EDIT: I didn't have time for any playtesting so you'll most likely (I can't say for sure, I didn't get any playtesters!) have a lot of trial and error to do since there will probably be some B.S. deaths from enemies you didn't know were there
Also thanks to SpaceManiac for hosting the file for me.

Died arbitrarily on my ~third try, but eventually got to the end. Fun little thing!
Check out my game here: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-23/?action=preview&uid=12985
The game feels good, but a save feature would have been nice. It really is a pain to start from the beginning everytime you fail.
You could continue making more levels to this game - I would play them.
***I'm posting this on all non-browser games I bring up in an attempt to encourage folks to make browser games next time around. Do not take it personally.***
When hundreds of people make non-browser games, that means that, to play all of the entries, I would need to download hundreds of games to my computer. I typically use OS X, so Windows-only entries are particularly inconvenient.
Please consider making a browser game next time.
Good game even if it was a bit raw. I agree over the save feature, it would have been a nice little feature.
I dig the RED SCREEN effect you got going on. It could use some music to really push the experience along, too. Not really sure about the theme connection, but not too bad for 6 hours.
It was pretty fun. The first level was pretty good design. The slow fields were cool, and the kill-pads got me the first time!
Pretty damn good for 6-7 hours. Simple, but entertaining. It's always good when you play a game that makes you feel like you're learning the game as you go, and you feel like it's your fault when you die rather than the game's. Fun entry.
I would like to be able to play this game on my mac... but I cannot. :C
I can't play your game because I don't have Windows. Perhaps another member of my team will find and rate your game.

We have the same theme :)
and like in my game, the map doesn't look like a circuit xD
Nice little game, I found it visually hard to see where to go and where not. Simon
