Super Tiny Adventure - getRandomName() - Jam Entry

Edit : We add a dialogues text file. You can check all the dialogues, even those not integrate in the game.

Super Tiny Adventure is an RPG or Zelda like in only one screen.
But there is no fight in our game.
There is only quests and dialogues.
This is our second participation and we are happy to be here again.

The team getRandomName() :

- Eldaryze as programmer and sound designer
- Enimal as game designer and level designer
- Oxydam as game designer and level designer

The tools used :

- FlashDevelop for programming in AS3 with flixel.
- Trello, an online software, which allowed us to organize ourselves.
- VUE, for the game design.
- Ogmo Editor as Tilemap editor.
- Photoshop, The Gimp, Paint .Net, GraphicsGale and Paint for the graphics (each of us uses different softs).
- Audacity and Google traduction for the voice (japanese).
- A lot of softs for the music, not all useful. I did as I could.

Huh, interesting concept! Reminded me quite a bit of zelda, actually, which is good :). I wish you would walk a little faster, since you end up spending almost all of your time walking.

Is the game complete? I think I'm supposed to get wood from one person and bring it to the other to get a boat, but I can seem to do it.

I like the music and the art though. And the single screen rpg is an interesting idea.

Very interesting idea. still a litle buggy (for exemple, I can't read the end of Molydoux monologue).
...Now where is this damn grail ?!

It was nice to see Never Alone Hotline between Fable and Heavy Rain ^^

Nice. Wish it was finished (or perhaps I simply suck at the game ... not sure what to do after the guy resurrects because it says quest not available..)

The trading parts in Link's Awakening is one of my favourite things in video games ever - really loved seeing a whole game based on that concept!

Feels very Zelda like! But with a notable ZOOM OUT :P I really enjoyed it! Can you imagine an MMORPG like this? LOL!

I really enjoyed this one! Lots of funny dialogue, I found out how hard this is this LD. Unfortunately I got stuck after the anchovies and molyneaux :) Funny game!

Funny game ! It costed me my eyes to play it though, but that's the price for having a game very close to the topic.
The idea is good, that's just a bit annoying that the player is so slowly moving... but in the original zelda game it was the same.
I especially loved the dialogs, they are very entertaining !

HAHA Awesome joke about P.Molydoux :D Nice game. Original idea. I would say that a bit more of gameplay would have been nice. Cool music too. Good job :)

nice job. I was enjoying myself until I hit a bug where I lost control of my character after talking to the island character that has multiple choice dialog. I selected the schweppes answer and then my character got stuck in the multiple choice with the next char on the grail island. after that text got stuck on screen and I couldn't move. would be fun to see what zelda combat would feel like at this tiny resolution. i really do like the idea of the tiny pixel view, tho i think a longer game of this would probably give me eye strain XD. nice job!
