You are on your own in the tiny world that is your raft..."
My first game made on my own. Bad code, no skills, but you gotta start somewhere!

Pretty good for a first game! It would have fit more in the previous LD's theme though :)
Love it! It's like you got your Gameboy in my PC.
And I think isolation is a great interpretation of 'Tiny World'.
This was also my first LD - good feeling knowing you finished your first one, eh?
Yes, definitely. I'm glad I got something done =) Thanks for the comments!
Unfortunately I can't play since I'm on a Mac. Your screenshots look great though!
Yeah, I wish GM published to both mac and windows. Might have to switch to Unity sooner than later. Thanks for the input
Awesome graphics! I had trouble identifying the theme.
But great job - solid gameplay :)
I can't find any objective. It seems like it's nothing but escaping sharks, but without any end objective. (Or if there is one, it's too far out.)
For example, a Northern felt pretty easy, a Straight South route felt incredibly difficult (25ish deaths in 10 minutes)
Hi!
First game? Impressive!!
I love the art (I like the black and white art and you've achieve great effects). To make it more challenging I would put some items/modifiers.
Congratulations!
Nice art syle! Reminds me my ld22 entry, but with better graphics. :P
I thought this was neat! Excellent graphical style, nice Gameboy-esque palette. It reminded me a bit of Jaws on the NES! The sharks are very brutal.
So you say you cut three quarters of the features- does that mean you might flesh this out with some more stuff? I'd be interested to see the kind of things were cut, if you do come back to it! :)
Thanks for the comments guys.
Tao: It's out there, you just have to find it!
Orgarus: I had items originally planned but couldn't figure out how to implement them correctly so I moved on
Moth: I was thinking of going back and adding the missing features, but it wouldn't be until post-LD.
Very nice game indeed. Made me feel like crossing a highway on foot :D
But i didn't unterstand what to do. I reached Northern end Western borders and still found nothing.
I kept hoping I would be surprised by a new game element. As it is, it works, but it's very simple. The game looks very nice though.
Very nice art, but i didn't appreciate the full screen. Good game for a first experience.
Annoying as all hell trying to win! I gave up, but really enjoyed it! Graphics style is great, very minimalistic, but impacting when you get nommed. Needs some sounds, even just an ambient ocean sound would be cool!
art is pretty neat, but gameplay needs additions - maybe several destinations, or more challenges as you approach the land.
Title screen and gameover screens are great, with some sounds fx it would be the perfect game packaging :) Game objective is not very interesting but avoiding shark is fun enough to play 3-5 minutes.
I liked the graphics, but enduring 240 seconds is pretty extreme...

Also cut like 3/4 of the features do to being new to programming =)
