by Follett - 48 Hour Compo Entry

My Sun Is HUUUGE! is a ambient space where you have to blow up every other planet besides yourself.

You do this by either crashing into them or moving around to change their orbit and make them crash into each other.

This is not only my first full game but also my first ludum dare.

UPDATE: fixed some bugs and resolution issues. Added a web player version although I do suggest the download for a better experience.

The rest of the instructions are included in the game menu and readme.

Have Fun

I cant ever get the glowing planet. It's impossible AFAIK. Good game though. ;)

Hey Phobos001, Thanks for playing the game. I figured some of the planets would be impossible to get. But there just isn't enough time to sit down and fully bug test the game.

Nice concept.
Why the game always suddenly ends? I tried play a few times, but after few minutes i can see the end screen with the score. Played the web version only.

Excellent music and presentation, really liked the lens-flare effects. It wasn't clear enough how to interact with it for me, couldn't work out how to play it despite reading (most of) the text instructions - however for a first game attempt it's the complete package and well executed, good stuff!

Kendja, I may have failed to include a count down or even mention a countdown mechanic. Basicly you have a time limit (155 seconds of the top of my memory, may be wrong) and you have to destroy as many planets as possible. I would add a proper instruction screen if I was allowed to change that but I think that may be as cheating.

It looks really nice, but the gameplay is a bit lacking. Why is the resolution soo big, what dimensions were you expecting this to be played at?

I had massive trouble with res on unity. Initially I did it so it would only work at 1920x1080 but then did my best to resize to the users screen. I did it in like 15 minutes with no expience so eh. Sorry if it was off for you
