April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
I'm sending it now because I won't have time to work further on it before Ludum Dare ends.
This game is far from finished. I'll keep working on it even after Ludum Dare ends, though.
There's no art or sound effects whatsoever in the game in its current state.
I'll write a post mortem about this game on my LD blog later, and tell more about what happened during the development of this game.
Instructions:
Use the arrow keys to move the player character around the screen.
Every time the player character touches the rectangle in the upper right parte of the screen, it becomes larger, but it makes little creatures called "Salmonellas" to hunt him down. The idea behnd the game is to make the player character grow as large as possible while, at the same time, avoid the Salmonellas chasing it.
This game was made with Unity 3D.

As you say, its far from finished. I did like the idea of having to balance growth with difficulty but the enemies usually end up converging and you often run over the rectangle in the course of avoiding them.
The player ends up spending most of their time off-screen in the course of avoiding the salmonella, which is a bad thing.
