April 20th-23rd 2012 :: 10 Year Anniversary! :: Theme: Tiny World
Underfoot
Use the mouse to control the gigantic feet to crush the tiny people. The feet will move in the direction of the mouse. There are three levels and an insane ending!
Use the installer if you don't have XNA installed.

Love squishing all the tiny people - would like some more sounds, like tiny screaming, the earth pounding as each footprint appears, giant belly laughs - maybe a 'fee fi fum' when you squash more than one person in a footprint? I could see a flocking + fleeing behaviour working well. I feel like I should get a splinter when I step on those houses ^_^ Also, +1 kudos to releasing source code for a jam game and for making a game that zips up to 0kb! 0kb people! Cheers!
Thanks CherryNukaCola! We had a lot of similar ideas, but in the end we didn't have time to implement them. For instance we really wanted to add vehicles and more buildings to crush.
I had to try this game after I saw the title screen. Pretty fun game, I especially liked the sound effects. I thought the movement was a little slow but I guess someone with giant feet can't walk too fast. Throw in some more variety in the gameplay (like more stuff to avoid) and this game can be great. Overall, nice work.
Fleeing behavior would be awesome indeed. Its a very funny idea you have there. A way to move faster would be good too ( maybe a sprint where you cant control the direction for a short time )
Maybe not hiding the mouse pointer would make the controls just a slight bit better, nice game mechanics though.
The big blue footprints made me chuckle, the tiny president and his magical powers too.
HA, very cool. I laught hard about the noises. This needs to be on my phone! :-)
Great concept and sound is awesome and funny! Found the controls slightly awkward but didn't detract from the fun. Gets nicely harder as you go too :D
The squish noises definitely elicited a titter. One thing that was somewhat frustrating was standing directly on top of a single human trying to kill them-- perhaps both feet could go down if they are stopped? Also, the concept of this is almost exactly the opposite of our game :P.
Loved the idea - cursor moved a bit slow - but otherwise fun.
Wavy feet, man! A little slow getting around, but the squishing was most satisfying. :)
Eh, way too slow-paced to reach the full potential of the concept. Should play more like an arcade/Flash game, I think. Even as it is, the foot collisions are inaccurate.
That was satisfying :D Pretty fun concept! I'd agree that the pace of the game could be a bit faster...perhaps powerups to make you walk faster? Or a combo bonus that speeds you up? Thanks!
Funny! The smashing sounds are great, but I'm a fan of WASD in such occasions. And the gameplay was a little too slow for me.
I had this exact same idea too, though I ended up doing a different thing entirely. I agree with @Ace, having some feedback on where the mouse was would have helped playability, I kept moving out of the window...
Like the concept but would've liked to have a little more feedback on where my mouse was. Some additional abilities would be cool for a post-compo version (jumping, running etc)
The first level was quite pointless. Also weird controls. Nice audio work and had some humor too.
Unfortunately cannot play, don't have access to windows box.

You might want to just put the exe/content-folder in a zip instead of an installer.
It might put people off...
