Wash IT

by Raimonds - Warmup Entry

The game took me around 5 hours. The problems I encountered were a problem with positioning bullet, fixed thanks to Darknek, and other problem was converting audio from wav (sfxr) to mp3, still don't know how to fix. Used free sounds from the net. The game is DuckHunt style shooter, with some bad graphics. I suck at them. Things to improve next time, audio volume control, and separate audio class.

WARNING: Sound may scare you, so please turn it down. If you leave it above 70% its your fault :D Its a bug maybe fix it later.

I like the sound. This might be a noobish question but how do you make a game with flash...

Not at all. I program them in Actionscript 3. And compile them using adobe flex compiler. I use FlashDevelop IDE, with FlashPunk framework.

I just have to say, the screen is tiny, the sounds are misfit, the overall feel is screwball and not good, and nothing resembles what it should be.

I configured everything as you said and got the Flash Punk framework. It is just what I wanted from a game library. Thank you so much for showing this to me. Now I have one week to learn how to use it before comp. starts! See you there...

It's nothing impressive I know, it was more like just to see how much I can do in a period of time, I hadn't set a theme, I just tried to replicate a game of duck hunt.

Rabbits, hope to see you there. [:

Simple and classic but does its job. I think the sounds are funny, they give some personality.
