Solitas Exodae is closer to an interactive story than a game, I felt like trying out something ambiant.
The game ends after about 5 minutes of gameplay. Your mileage may vary, depending on your style of play and the way the random level is generated.
"[14:08] <Derek> Gaeel, it's the best ld22 game I've played so far."
Windows users who do not want to install Love2D from http://www.love2d.org/ can run the Windows standalone.
Otherwise, all users are invited to install Love2D, and run the .love file.
I'm going to leave the auto-update script running until the compo ends, but then I'll only update these files if a game-breaking bug is found.
Changes since compo end:
- Removed the creation of a framebuffer that was never used in the final game (believed to cause problems on some computers)
- Added then removed the display of a console window for Windows users, for debugging
- Replaced the default DevIL.dll with an alternative that fixes some issues.
If you are still experiencing issues on Windows, PLEASE let me know at kb@niu.uz so I can fix it, but I think it's good now.

It SHOULD work, and it does work on SOME Win7 machines. I see no reason why it wouldn't work, nor any errors.
The atmosphere is great, I love the music and the graphics
The ending was maybe to abrupt :)
Very cool atmosphere. Liked the music.
Jumping was fun.
Not much game, though.
Good job!
Certainly fits the mood, this game is straight up depressing. There's not much gameplay to go with it though, mostly just "Hold D"
I love the movement and control feel. Would be good to see this one extended in future!
Really great atmosphere. But is there anything other to do than pressing the right arrow key?
You nailed the theme, the sounds were good, but I would agree with most that it's lacking in gameplay. I've heard people call this depressing (etc), but I didn't see it that way. You should think about opening this up and expanding it to a full platform game :)
Way too much "just keep walking to the right". Overall, a good experience.
goodstuff gaeel ..musics great + love the gfx :) v.moody aswell
Hi... interesting... I understand that that wasn't your goal, but I would have preferred some challenges when playing. Love2D is awesome.
Fantastic.
Maximum mood rated.
More poetry than game, but I had great fun.
