I get the need to pick up and carry things (although I can tell it'd take me a few attempts to know what I need to use any of that stuff for), but you shouldn't have to use that key when you are near stuff that goes right into your inventory that you'd need anyways. The character is trying to survive, I shouldn't have to tell it that it needs to pick up that extra bottle of water, extra container of water or that extra bit of hope to hold out when I can't find a reason to even care that I still exist (The controls were easy enough, but I couldn't really follow how the status gui worked, and I kept losing all hope in the face of adversity)

(note: Also, I am entirely aware of how petty of a feature it is for me to focus my entire comment on, but it's that same spirit I assume that if it's something I personally neglect to mention, it's something that would never be brought up. In truth, I expect most times where I decide to write a comment, it will be written under a very similar context. If you do find someone else that comments on this very specific, very insignificantly obscure aspect of your game, please try and let me know, so I can maybe get in touch with this person.)

@EvilDemonCreature: I hear you, I definitely want to improve the use/pickup/carry mechanic in the not too distant future.

In all honesty I bit off a whole lot in this project and certain aspects didn't get the attention they deserved, like my Hope mechanic (which is going to be awesome once it's done and dusted!)

Thanks for the crit though, it makes me stronger ;)

Found it a bit hard to get into. Definitely needs the controls listed in game somewhere, nobody wants to read readme files. Also needs a way to skip the intro.

Didn't work for me. Just got a black screen. XP/Firefox.

sanonjian: is that after the intro screen? I tested on chrome now and it gives me the same result. If its the same error then it's because it's a streamed build, so it would download the intro level, then start loading the main level (the black screen). I've just uploaded a new version where the entire game is downloaded at the start.

Tested and working! Thanks for the heads up!

@someone: If I have time today. I'll put up a new build with the ability to skip the intro and (maybe!) some instructions in game. Thanks for your input :)

Interesting work. I like the exploraiton and the graphics. But alas, this is in dire need of some balancing and bug-fixes.

The intro is way too long. I re-started this game 4 times, and slogging thorugh the dialogue was boring. The instructions say the right mouse-button does sth, but in webbuilds it opens a link to the Unity-page.

Also, lovely blur-effect when thirsty. Keep up the good work!

matthias_zarzecki: I definitely agree with you on all your points, some have made it in already, not in the currently online version though.

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not really sure why this doesn't have more plays. This is very solid for LD48. I'd love to see the final version when it's ready!

The game over message doesn't make it clear that you lost. And you have to wait through 10 seconds of flickering text to realize that.
Right click doesn't work if you're playing on a browser.
The EM was a cool gadget, but I'd never know I had it if I wasn't trying out the controls.
The grabbing mechanic wasn't great, and I don't understand why the need for mouse controls. Is there shooting involved at some point?
It looks interesting, but there isn't much of an objective to guide me through.
