December 16th-19th 2011 :: Theme: Alone
"In a normal day, of a normal life, you go ot to do some shopping. Something blocks your way, so you go back. But something happens, something really strange, and ypu decide to investigate."
The game is not entirely finished. I don't think it can be even called a game, as you can only win (or, well, lose).
This started as a good idea in my head. I slowly realized I culdn't finish it on 48h. Then I started to feel unmotivated, tired, and finished this in a hurry.
At least I gave it a story, and what got into the game is complete.

Even unfinished, I really like the work you put into this. Though I feel the story segments could have been spaced out a little more, it was awkward trying to find the right place to stand in order to read them.
great job with using the theme in the story, and the effect at the beginning was beautiful.
Good little story, it's worthy to play until the end. It made me smile (even though it's kind of sad!)
Strong beginning, kind of short, but what is there was good, and the story was decent. I'm interested to see where this goes if you decide to continue working on it.
Really nice beginning! By nice, I mean bloody scary :) The footstep noise did get quite annoying, but for a short game, you've conveyed a LOT of emotion. Well done!
This showed a lot of promise. The ending was sad, but I'm really sad you didn't complete it. :(
Well, despite not being finished, this is a really nice entry. I love the approach, and I'll always appreciate a 48 hour entry written in Java + LWJGL. My next entry will possibly be with LWJGL and not Java2D, as I've been learning OpenGL pretty rapidly recently. It always impresses me to see people a few steps ahead of where I am :)
Totally unexpected outcome. Needs some more audio to really tie it together.
Cool, given that it's basically a playable opening cutscene for an actual game. I would be very interested to know what sort of gameplay you had in mind beyond walking and jumping. Were the multiple universes going to tie into the gameplay somehow?
Nice work on the story. I like how it is told within the gameplay.
