The Escape of the White Square

by Geroro - 48 Hour Competition Entry

Controls: WASD or Arrows keys to move

My first Ludum Dare Entry, I've tested it on Chrome and Safari.

Thanks for playing,
Geroro.

Edit: I fixed the problem for Firefox, but it was after the initial 48 hours so I'm including it as a second link (is this ok to do?).

Thanks for all the feedback so far

Do not know the reason, but all I got was a black web-page when I tried to play the game so can't rate it =/

Doesn't appear to work on Firefox 6, had to switch to chrome to play it. Pretty fun! I liked the direction the last level was going on, would have liked to see more.

@Hanoran Thanks, I would have liked to make more levels but I was busy most of the weekend, I'm definitely going make a new version with more levels soon.

Still doesn't work on firefox (at least for me), even the fixed version. (I'm just getting a black screen. The html source shows the javascript source just fine).

Nice take on this model, and good use of various "AI" patterns.

Cute and simple, not at all bad for a first.

Remember that old TV show named "Takeshi's Castle"? Especially that landslide game they had. As soon as I popped your entry it was kinda nostalgia bomb! Despite all the simple approach, I had fun, and when you have fun means that something worked in the end! Congratulations on your first Ludum Dare!
