Escape Velocity

by CaseyR - 48 Hour Competition Entry

Instructions: WASD controls your velocity, but you have limited control due to the gravitational pull of the black hole you are closely orbiting. Use the mouse to shoot and kill 200 enemies!

You should put up an executable too. Not everyone would prefer compiling it manually.

Uncompiled code and not even a link to prerequisite library is a very bad community support. Hoping to see an executable before the end of this.

I gotta agree with the others, Casey. I've been messing with the source for two hours now and the farthest I've gotten (after noticing the class naming conflict between your Game class and the abstract Game class in libgdx) is being told it can't start up a window.

I'm sorry, but I just won't spend more time trying to make this work.

The screenshot makes this game look interesting, but without any way to play, looks like this one's not going to see much love.

Why did you uploaded it at all? You say in your journal that your game is missing a game... you put up just your sources with comment that it can't compile...

Oh man, I'm really sorry guys!

The reason I submitted at all was because the 48 hour deadline was coming up (before I knew it was extended) and I was planning on coming back and submitting an executable. You're allowed additional time for porting... but I got busy with work and never got around to it. :\

Sorry for those of you that tried to compile the source, it's missing the art files. I only had the source there to prove it was done. I forgot to include the art assets. D'oh!
