It's done! This is a game about a woman trying to escape her addiction from a virtual reality game console.
It's fun you should play it.
Music was done with LMMS (Not my strong point
Sound effects were done with bfxr
Graphics were done with Cosmigo Pro Motion 6
Code was done in gEdit
And I used flex and flixel to compile
yay- its a game in <48 hours!
Aug 23 2011 - Bugfix update. I accidentally left the double jump in the beginning of the stage for testing. Commented out that line, and uncommented the line saying where it should actually be.

Cool platformer, jump control were a little digital/abrupt - but awesome graphics :)
Nice look, interesting theme interpretation and level structure, but let down by very fiddly jump mechanic coupled with poor framerate. I had to give up after consistently failing to manage what should have been really simple jumps :(
Klare: Yes, you'll need either the double jump from RED, or blink from GREEN to collect the ORB OF GOAL in GREEN.
Winterblood: Looking back on it now, I do wish I had spent a bit more time on performance and mechanics :(
Immensely frustrating at times, especially the way enemies jumping patterns. Not too bad though.
Congratulations, I hate frogs now.
I hate you for making me hate frogs.
Theme and plot felt kind of shoehorned on - "here is a game, and oh also you're escaping. yeah."
I loved the look of the main character! However, the background made my eyes bleed. I get the reference to the virtual boy, but ouch. The platforming was good, but my poor eyes couldn't handle it. It was really really tough though, perhaps the first door should have been easy, the second medium, the third hard, and the fourth insane? For me all of the three doors I could get in were insane difficulty. Music wasn't bad, sound effects weren't bad. Controls could have been tightened up a bit. A good start, especially for 2 days work.
Fun concept, well executed. The controls were a little too loose given how precise all the block jumping was (at least for me). Save points would have been nice. That said, the sprites/graphics and sounds were super fun. I am probably in the minority but i LOVED the psychedelic background VR mess! Great job!
Great graphics and level design. It would have been more fun with a life bar.
The moving/jumping felt a bit flimsy to me, I didn't feel 100% in control which maybe it one of the most important things in a platformer.
Otherwise you have a good lil platformer going here. Just that I kept dying (which to me felt like) cheap deaths.
Fun! Quite frustrating but I eventually beat it. The controls were too sensitive so the jumping was really twitchy and annoying. I liked the different enemy movement patterns and trying to guess where they would go next. I didn't like having to restart the entire level over again when I died (although I eventually got better at the game, so this became less of an issue :)), maybe it would work better with lives or checkpoints or something. The graphics were nice, but would be better with softer colours.

Oh man... those frogs...and is the music taunting me?!
That game was hard..For me at least :p It took me a while to get used to the sensitivity, and I had to get the double jump from the red level in order to beat the green level (is that allowed?)
Very solid platformer ^^
