Dangerous - CarstenCCC - Competition Entry

Compiled under Win 7 (64 Bit) Using Code:Blocks with the minGW/Gcc Compiler, as graphics library I choose SDL.

All graphics and all the code is written by me, with the exception of the text, and the text loading routine. (font.cpp/font.h)

I had some really good ideas for the game, but at one point I realized that I am running out of time, and tried just to finish the game somehow.

For a very simple game, I found it oddly compelling. With a bit more complexity, I could see myself losing some time to a game like this.

My master technique - lure powerful enemy to castle. Fight and heal at the same time!

Would like more to do in this big field! Lots of baddies, I can see you were going for a pretty big scale.

A nice start for a bigger game. Right now it's somewhat bland. You'd need something that works beside killing monsters, bring quests or somesuch.

I actually played this for quite a while. I really dig the move-attack style battes, which always remind me of Hydlyde. I made it to level 10 and the bottom of the map and was working my way right when it crashed. The simplicity of this game concept is one of it's strong points, for sure.
