Some explanation of what you're trying to achieve would be helpful. It took me a minute or so just to figure out that you had to right click to move the ship!

What does the turtle do?

Yes, sorry about that, i'll try to add instructions on the future versions.

I thought about adding a real gameplay for the turtle but i didn't have enough time. So in this version the turtle stun the monsters when swimming over them and it also helps to grab... coins ? (i changed that for food) so that you can keep your cape without losing time. I didn't make the gold work either.

Here is a link of an updated & latest version of the game : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8211966/hooj_latest.zip

Was really quite difficult to sail around, which was a cool mechanic but made it pretty hard to do anything. Might be I just couldn't figure it out.

Not really sure if it fits the theme at all?
Lack of instructions hurts the overall score, but I see promise in this. Really only needs a guide of some sort to help silly people like me figure it out.

Thank goodness I'm a for-reals pirate seaman or I'd no idea what was going on.

Raise the sails and roll out the cannons!

The mouse only controls were a little difficult to manage, and not very satisfying to manipulate.

Did this simulate tacking / sailing techniques? Had no idea... just thought the controls were broken... some instructions on that would've been nice.
