    Pludum Dary - raver1975 - Competition Entry

    Defend the planet from waves of missiles. Don't crash or shoot it either.

    Touch the screen to move around. Touch your ship or press the trackball to fire. Or use the mouse and space on the desktop.

    It's an executable JAR file.

    May or may not work on Mac and Linux, but its Java so it should. There was one line of code that was causing a problem, I think. So the windows link is the original Ludum Dare entry, and the others are updated with one line of code removed. Please let me know your experience.

    I'm not really show how well this matches the theme
    But it looks rad and the 3D planet with impact craters is awesome!

    Crashed after the rockets hit earth and I clicked to start. Some kind of jogl error, which is odd because lwjgl works fine.

    I think I killed humanity. We're supposed to use the planet as our shield, so we don't have to use our blue shield, right?

    Uses libgdx, so it should work on Mac. Any other Mac users having problems with it?

    At first I tried to play with the keyboard, and that doesn't work very well at all. It's much more fun with the mouse.

    I tried running the game three times, once with the Max/Linux version instead. It crashed my system every time. :-/

    The intro was great, then I crashed into the planet. I suppose that's what I get for drinking and rating.

    I played it with the keyboard at first too - much better with mouse. I also thought (for no real reason) you were supposed to lead the missiles to hit the planet... then I re-read the instructions. Good game, once I played it right!

    Lovely sounds. The game itself is getting pretty hectic later on. I managed to get 30 points.
    There is some weird auto-shooting bug, when you rotate your ship fast some shots go off.
