Theme: It’s Dangerous to go Alone! Take this!
More Info: Ludum Dare 20 Has Begun! (Keynote), Theme Voting Results.
Explore the nano and risk great danger with your trusty nano seed.
I'm happy with what I've made here, though I was only able to work on it Saturday. It represents about 8 hours of work.

yeah, next on the todo list was 'enemies' :P regrettably unfinished.
Yeah, a goal would have been nice. Got my little nano seeds all powered up, but had nothing to do with them...
After I harvested all the asteroids, I shot aimlessly into the void of space... it's lonely out there.
I like the idea of simultenous control over two different units (even one of them being a swarm)! Further development might be quite interesting.
Asteroids with a twist.
With a bit of tuning could be better, but yeah for only 8 hours it's a great effort.
Like the nano swarm, just needs some enemies or hazards to use the nanites on. Also a larger window on the world would have been nice.
funny thing is that the size of the screen is just a tuning value. I could have made it any size. I really don't know why I made it small like that.
Yeah. Plan was to have little box enemies that inchworm towards you and collide. You have to protect yourself with the nano swarm. Enemies become more numerous as time passes.
Also, was going to have different asteroid chunks that gave the nano swarm special powers. Just needed that second day ;)
like some other commenters, I was confused by what happens after you collect the seeds. But yeah your explanation makes sense. Would like to see this with more development.
Very nice intro and looks quite interesting. A shame there's not much to do. It wouldn't be fair to vote for overall as there's not much to play.
It looks and feels as though it good be fun - if just there was something to do!
I have no idea what I'm doing here. It looks like there's no apparent goal here, but good work for eight hours.
I like the flocking behavior of the nanos. It took me a while to figure out how to shoot.
I like the flocking around the mouse pointer, it felt like I should be able to do more with the little mites though, like a large swarm should be able to devour larger brown thing.

Pretty nifty. It'd be nice if it had some sort of goal, or something like that.
