Theme: Enemies as Weapons
Tag the stupid squares by pressing LEFT SHIFT and then make them explode by holding LEFT SHIFT near one of them.
Tagging consumes your health (the more squares are near you, the more health you lose), but you can gain it back by eating the "pills" they leave behind when they explode.
Not as fun as I would have liked it to be, but still playable. Maybe you can create an interesting map yourself!
Thanks to Lanael for the FreeBSD build.

Well, I unzipped the game on the desktop under Win XP SP2, launched ld18.exe by clicking on it, and everything worked as expected... There is no error message in the MSDOS window that opens under the game, when it closes itself?
Mmm.. so blame it on my system. AV is down, permissions granted... :(
Left you a video with the problem (launched from the terminal). http://bit.ly/9JQT4T
I hope it works fine for everybody else.
Ah, thanks! ... That's funny, I get the exact same behaviour (black screen instead of the purple background, and crash when selecting a map) when I run the windows binary under Wine. That doesn't make much sense to me...
I guess I'll have to add some debugging messages if I want to find what's going on.

Sounds interesting, but can't play it :(
I'm on win xp sp3; the menu appears, select map and window closes.
