Very nice game!
Liked the style and humor - couldn't really finish it, catching that bunny is hard, and jumping over the spikes is impossible.
Nice work!

Interesting idea. Though I couldn't really figure out what the mouse items did aside from the feet ones. Also, I couldn't seem to catch the rabbit or jump over the pit of spikes either. =(

Well I can see I got a little bit farther in your game than Meep and Daniel ;-) I got to the wolf
I like the idea but an introduction to what the different kinds of items do would do wonders. A life system would also enhance playability.

I fell out of the map :D
still a great idea on the crafting part.
well done.

Overall, great work. Pretty difficult to figure out without the hints: I thought I had to catch a bunny first off and figured I just sucked and almost gave up. I would have loved to see some animation (eg the main character), an intro (explaining what you need to do) and sounds. Keep up the good work. =)

Nice game. The hints are very valuable.
More levels would have been nice. The different equipments are a good basis for more puzzles. Is the hands equipment good for anything?

Thanks for all the comments!

benjaminum: Currently, the puppets (bunny and rat) don't really do anything. Originally I thought that they would provide attack bonuses and new attacks, but there was too little time to add such. The wolf paws still boost speed/jump a little.

Originally I was planning to have 3 more enemies: A pointy shell ( to dig through the cracked ground areas), a crab (to walk on the quicksand, the dark ground close to the wolf), and a bird, to provide the best jump bonus. Time was too short though. I did make some graphics for the crab, which you can find in the source package.

Breakdance McFunkypants: thanks for not giving up, and giving the hints a chance :D. It seems they were pretty valuable to many people. I should have added some more hints about the game play and crafting system, but there was so little time! Originally I had planned a "discoveries screen" where you could browse all found equipment. There are concept pictures and some item planning in the source package, though the images are GIMP image format (xcf). Animations were also originally planned but not prioritized; I might do an extended version with all initial plans and suggestions from people :)

Thanks again to everyone who played / plays my game, even though it's a little harder than it should be :)

I went a ways to the right and fell off the level. I assume the right side wasn't complete yet.

The idea was neat (although without hints it would be a hard)... Kind of reminded me of old Dizzy games... :)

I liked the concept and as Covenant says it's reminiscent of the Dizzy series.
With some tidying up and some way of integrating the hints into the game it would be play like Under The Garden with more of a directed story.

Sorry but I've got to jump on the band wagon about the hints, without them I'd of been a bit clueless, really cute concept though, would have been awesome if you'd of had the time to draw every piece of equipment. Very tough game though :)

Well, I thought the idea was good, but I couldn't progress any further after getting the mouse slippers. I still couldn't catch the bunny, and I still couldn't jump over the spikes or the tall hill.

It's impossible to catch the rabbit. Not fun.
