Keytrader - Barefists - Competition Entry

Keytrader is an experimental trading game that makes you play Twister on your keyboard. Only tutorial levels are complete.

Only had 8 hours to make it. Bad bad weekend.

Interesting mechanic! I didn't quite grasp how everything was supposed to work, and I'm sure holding down the letters wasn't really necessary, but I certainly felt the potential here. :)

Interesting mechanic! wait a seconds the last guy said that. The restarting the level thing for not holding down keys was a bit agitating but asides that I saw potential here.

Interesting mechanic! Oh wait.. Also, very very nasty, in the tutorial you need to keep your hand spread over the keyboard and then you expect the player to simultaneously click the mouse!? ;)

A fantastic idea. Love it. For better or worse, many keyboards aren't capable of reporting more than 3 key-presses at a time (or 3 each from various regions of the keyboard), so even if your good with your fingers, you still have to think about releasing keys in order to press others.

I'd love to see more.

I was unable to locate the sourcecode for your game.

Interesting mechanic indeed! I thought the same thing about keyboards that philomory mentioned. I'd like to see more levels, since I still wasn't 100% sure what I was doing when I beat the last tutorial. =p

The way the tutorial worked was a bit annoying because I had to click while holding keys. Also, after I finished the tutorial, the game was just over. That's quite an unusual way of things. Usually the tutorial is the part people skip.
Anyways, really cool concept, although obviously it will suffer from the faults of modern keyboards.

On my machine it kept throwing up GameMaker errors when I held down 4 keys but I was enjoying the mechanics of this. A very strange but interesting play style.

There's a tutorial bug. I couldn't complete the tutorial the first time I tried. It wouldn't allow me to trade with H at all. VERY INNOVATIVE STUFF.
