That was fun once I got the hang of it. It might've been improved with slightly simplified controls.
(Also, having to switch from keyboard to mouse to restart after dying in a game where you die a lot gets kind of old.)

Comtemno says ...

It doesn't look like one; but it is a good game.

Wiering says ...

It took a while to figure out what to do, but after that it was enjoyable. Automatically restarting a level might have been better I think.

Kinda cool, but I dislike falling deaths 'cause I never know if I'll make a fall or not.

Problem Machine says ...

The jump key seems a bit vestigial, being useless for everything except stalagmites, and a lot of the treasure seems to be technically unreachable, but it's still fun diving towards the rocks and pulling it out with the chute.

- Fun concept, pretty execution of it!
- Graphics are simple, but work nicely
- Yay sound. Death is so much better with a cute snap.
- Stalagmites are just sort of annoying.
- Controls are a little akward. (1 button + directions would be adequate)
- Pressing space on sign more than once throws extra text up.
- Character is centered in screen, but all gameplay requires looking down. Could be placed higher up.
- Its unclear which items can actually be reached, and which are just their to frustrate me! :)

I like this game, it's nice and simple and the little tunes when you die and get the key are good too.

Fun game, but view down could be bigger to show more space.

Ctrl and Shift are not a good combination for jump and fly action, they are too close together.

Otherwise very nicely polished.

Wouldnt start :(

Endurion says ...

Not bad.

Would be nice to be able to do some special moves during flying. That affect your fly path for example.

nilsf says ...

Rather nicely polished :)
Having to use the mouse on the menu screen is annoying though.
Unlike the screenshot, there were no bats flying around. Perhaps this a bug in the OS X version?

jolle says ...

Some collisions issues. Nice game idea. Themey.

Terry says ...

Pretty cool! A played it a couple of times trying to get a higher score. Congrats on finishing!

sticking the protagonist to the top of the camera rather than the bottom made this game much more playable, but it's still very hard to react to incoming obstacles because of the amount of time it takes the protagonist to deccelerate from terminal velocity. i don't think it can be easily played as intended (hold off releasing the parachute for as long as possible before landing safely).

Hempuli says ...

interesting! I enjoyed it a lot.

Entar says ...

Nice idea, good work. The parachute doesn't slow you down much though. Could use a little polish I guess.

I feel like kindred spirits since my entry also had you going down a shaft and lots of bats. Nice entry although I had some control issues after landing with getting stuck on the platform until I jumped.
