Competition information for Ludum Dare 15, held August 28th-30th weekend in 2009.

The theme for Ludum Dare 15 was Caverns. Ludum Dare 15 had 144 entries.

Historically speaking, this was our first competition with the brand new submission system, a rudimentary compo website redesign (with logo), as well as a keynote.

Shrooms. Right. The "engine" itself is rather promising; this is probably mostly a case of lack of content.

it looks awesome, though the mouse could de with being a little more sensitive, and some diamonds moved so fast they seemed to go between the bullets.

very promising, and very cool, but needs more work I think :)

I loved the explanation for how the game came together. The controls are difficult for me, but I'm using a trackpad. It's a trippy game. B-)

Very frustrating trying to hit small fast moving things with slow projectiles and low mouse sensitivity. Some nice trippy sounds would have really made it more fun too, I think.

The graphics are certainly appropriately trippy, and the gameplay isn't too bad, but I really hate timers in games like this.

Awesome visuals. Way too hard to actual hit things with the projectiles... mostly had to resort to just spamming the whole vicinity and crossing my fingers.

I liked how the scene changed color with the mood, depending on if you took a diamond out or got hit by one. Throw in some funky music and you've got a pretty fun game. Only problem was there seemed to be too many enemies (hard to hit) for the time limit.
