Competition information for Ludum Dare 15, held August 28th-30th weekend in 2009.

The theme for Ludum Dare 15 was Caverns. Ludum Dare 15 had 144 entries.

For the announcement post (with keynote by Mike Hommel), click here. To see the results of theme voting see Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3. To see results of the user survey, click here.

The controls for the left are a little confusing.

The controls for the left player worked a bit funny? I would love to try this game co-op :)

demize says ...

Yeah, the controls for the left are messed up. Q moves me left, S moves me down, D moves me right, Z moves me up. Arrow keys work like a charm though.

Comtemno says ...

It's mostly unplayable because of the controls.

badlydrawnrod says ...

I think I need an AZERTY keyboard to play the left player.

Hempuli says ...

The controls need a bit practicing, and the collision system is rather unforgiving, but overall I really like the game!

This is harddd..... WASD worked for the left player for me, the gameplay is really quite cool but difficult, the enemy movement is so random it's hard to predict.

Very punishing. I'd almost suggest slowing the gameplay down a bit to make it a bit more playable, perhaps introducing faster enemies later on in the game.

Endurion says ...

A two player puzzler.

WASD worked fine for me, sounds like a Direct Input mapping index to key problem (fell for that too).
The random spider movements are nasty, the pizza monster is far more predictable ;)

Entar says ...

Interesting game idea.

Nice idea, execution would need much more polish to really be fun. Too unforgiving now, the enemies are so fast.

I really like the cooopy gameplay. It's quite hard though.

I liked the co-op aspect of it. Interesting graphics too.

This game was a lot of fun to begin with, but it became very very frustrating after a few levels when there wasn't anywhere safe to stand anymore, which made it very difficult.

Other than that, great game

The cooperation is a great idea, but the difficulty goes up really fast. Some more practice in the beginning would be nice.
