Queen mimicry plays with her little friends.
Click on the blue figures to change shape to make the queen happy before time runs out.
I hope you enjoy my mini game =)

Edit: I forgot to mention that it's mobile friendly.

aaaa somebody stop this! pretty cruel, but cute as well :)
Is very hard! But you are working very well with the theme :) I think that it would be better if you have some sort of indication of "time before the clicked figure changes to blue again", but the game is good overall! good work!
It's SUPER cute, I could see this working really well on a phone game (looks like it's laid out that way already)! Competitive mode too maybe? :)
Thanks everybody =D
@cabezotta thank for the suggestion =)
@kestrelgames yeah it's a good idea O= could implement in a future update =)
I know my game is a little hard to play hahahaha I'm looking how to balance it =)
Me gusto el sentido del humor, la yuxtaposición de lo kawai con música clásica y la relación con el tema del juego, me resultó dificil encontrar un patrón de juego
Really cute :) Managed trough 16 rounds, pretty proud :)
I have to say tough it gets hard fast.
haha it was super great to play it, reminds everyone how hard is to make girls happy... mostly when shapes start to randomly appear and dissapear super fast... that stage will be my girlfriend! Great work and hope u could make it available on mobile! as i see it would be perfect for mobiles. cheers bro
The game was pretty hard...It kinda sucked when all of them were pink and then right as the timer went to zero some turned blue and I lost them. I like the pacing of the game and the art.
Really nice game ! A little bit hard but fun to play. And the art is really sweet
Extremely hard to play but very addictive, nice job! My finger hurts now...
Yo!
Very cute game! And pink!
Very innovative mechanic, I think I have never played anything of the sort (or I can't remember).
However they are some problems, because those last-millisecond-shapeshifts where extremely annoying !
Maybe you could have stopped the random shape shifts during the last second? I also think there was too much time : what you do in the beginning is more or less useless.
I also saw that clicking on already-correct shapes didn't do anything : you could have been a little more evil and made them shape-shift back to a wrong shape, it would the "I'm just clicking randomly" strategy (which is actually pretty effective).
The game also gets a little repetitive after a while. I saw that once you have too few shapes, they start randomly moving : very good idea! This could have maybe been done a little better, by preventing the shapes from overlapping, and/or having the shapes "move" instead of teleporting (you could have had them bounce around : so much fun!) That allowed a change in the game pace which was cool !
You could also have different times of "mini-games" in the same theme to make the game less repetitive : some rounds, the shapes are all blue, and you have to find the single one that is the same shape as the queen, in a very limited
amount of time. Unfortunately, that only works with a lot of shapes.
Anyway: Good job and good luck for your next ludum dare!
Thanks for the feedbacks =D
Hi @Swynfel =) yeah, all my friends have the same problem with the last-millisecond-shapeshifts hahaha, but I'm working to fix it =) and I like the idea to make others "mini-games" =D
I take all the feedbacks to work in a better version =D
This game is cute, but it's quite challenging! :O It feels like a whack-a-mole type of game, but totally suited for mobile (because we need more than just a mouse cursor to properly play the game :P).
I love this type of game, it's casual but quite addictive! :) Some sfx would make the game a nice release for mobile stores, and I hope you polish and release it! ;)
Cheers!
One of the few games where the shapeshifting is your enemy and out of your control! Really innovative!
I'm definitely reading too much into the cutesy game, but it could be seen as an allegory of keeping free speech (various colors/shapes) down to please an existing way of thought where failure causes citizens to leave the support of the queen.
As Swynfel pointed out, you could make it extra evil and have the correct shapes shapeshift as well! Or make it even more fast and it could easily become a twitchy game perfect for mobile devices!
This game has a lot of potential, I hope you improve and release it after the jam!

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
A bit hard but a good mechanic idea. Art is cute and funny.
