This is a Multiplayer Run n' Catch game. The minimum is 2 players, the max 6 players per room. The game allocate rooms automatically.

IMPORTANT: Run the game preferably in a new tab, or use the fullscreen button, so when using the arrows keys it won't make the page to scroll.

- Use the arrow keys to move your character
- Hunters (Red) should catch the Preys (Blue)
- Hunters can fly over the walls by pressing the key 1. It lasts 2 seconds and have a 30 seconds cooldown
- Preys can turn into a wall by pressing the key 1. But if a Hunter get near you'll be revealed
- Preys can also turn invisible for 5 seconds by pressing key 2. If a Hunter touch you whilst invisible you won't die
- The game ends if all preys get cought or after 90 seconds

- Add characters sprites

I waited 5 minutes for opponents... I will come back later to see if I can play. It looks promising!

Hey dreadzilla! Thank you for testing it! Unfortunately this is a recurrent problem in multiplayer games :P I suggest you to invite a friend to test with you. This game has only been shared here so there is not much people playing it.

This is awesome. I'm not entirely sure it was working properly-- as the hunter I landed on the prey and nothing happened, but it was really cool when I realized that I was in a multiplayer game.

It's kinda hard to do multiplayer games via online, maybe try to change game into a local multiplayer? The concept seems cool, just seems a waste to spend a lot of it on waiting for other players. Would love to try it again if you guys decide to make a control scheme for local stuff!

So I was playing with someone and it dropped me out with the message that it couldnt find anyone to play with...Other than that, it looks like a great game, wish there were more people to play with.

Wow, fun game! Great use of theme! I managed to find two players too play with. I think a more polished match-making system and maybe multipile players would make this game even more fun! Good work here!

Nice work! I got two games in a row! The flying thing feels a bit over powered. I had a lot of fun playing. Great job!

Hi! Just played it with a friend (in the same room on different computers) and had a lot of fun. At first it was a bit confusing as we thought the walls were the maze, but once we got the hang it was a blast. I think it's a bit easier to play as the hunter than the prey but other than that a sweet multiplayer game

It was a fun game, though I don't understand how shape shifting really fit into this. The only Thing that shape shifting went into was the prey, and I was never the prey for the 3 games I played, but it was simple and fun. Please check out my game! =3

Very good. There are some strange errors. As a prey I dissappeared? I still could turn into the wall but otherwise nothing was drawn in the place of prey. There was almost no graphics but otherwise gameplay was really fun and the attributes (going through walls and making oneself invisible or wall) were right on the spot to make it balanced. Good job.

MayMakeGames. Well, it was supposed to have some sprites, but my friend that was responsible for it didn't make it :P The hunter would turn into a eagle to fly over the walls, so both sides would have shape-shifting.

Pretty ambitious!

I waited some minutes and luckly I got someone to play with. I was Hunter all matches and I think it was pretty easy to win. This is a very interesting idea.

Fun game and great idea. Just the hunters need to be slightly faster than the prey, otherwise they can outrun you while your fly is on cooldown. Alternatively reduce the cooldown of the fly skill. Also the controls are a little clunky.

Mini Submission FAQ

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.

If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.

CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.

CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
