December 16th-19th 2011 :: Theme: Alone
A little Flash adventure game. The original intention was to have a series of clues leading up to the character discovering what happened to the crew, but alas, time restraints caused me to scrap that.
Tools used:
FlashDevelop
FlashPunk
Ogmo Editor
MaskedPixel's OgmoExtentions to FlashPunk
Paint.net
sfxr
This is the first time that I've used Flashpunk (and the first time using Actionscript in a couple of years). I decided to enter the Jam about two hours before it started, so despite not finishing the game to a level I was happy with, I wasn't displeased with my progress (especially since I had to do Christmas shopping too during the jam!).
Special thanks to my brother for contributing some ideas and some of the tile graphics.

Thanks for the feedback! :) I updated the move speed a bit (and fixed two other bugs), I am allowed to do that right, since the time isn't up? First time so I'm not entirely sure, and the rules weren't too clear.
Really a good start. The graphics and interface feel work. You should run with this and complete it!
I really like this game. Finish it! I want to know what happens :)
The text seems to break in strange places. Like sentences completing in the next text box. I appreciate how honest you were about running out of time.
It is too short; I wish it had way more content than it has currently. I hope you make a post-compo version.
Cool start, but for most of the game I felt like there was nothing I could do but to read texts about not being able to interact with stuff.
With such huge letters and a tiny text box, it feels like your text is way longer than it actually is.

heh, nice game... I was very sad to see that it was so short -- please take this as a compliment! :-) If you add the rest of the content, let us know!
The good: The little texts indicating the hotspots in the game.
The bad: I found that the character walking speed was a bit toooo slow.
