This was amusing. I took the time to complete it.

Good fun implementation, I didn't win, only got to ninety.

I used to like the was the Sierra games would give you a score and as you played you could get a feel for how far through the game you were.
The Ghost Pirate is presumably the ghost of a pirate which left we wondering what kind of thing I was before I died.
I also felt that the creatures we killed could have had ghosts (or something).
Maybe these were addressed in the ending.

Anyway good working a great product to show for 48 hours works.

Thank you! I actually haven't thought about ghosts for the creatures, that could have been a good idea :) The ending is a bit short and disappointing right now due to lack of time, but I improved it in the post-compo version. Thank you for playing :)

Very very nice work!
I enjoyed the graphics a lot, and the theme is very well integrated into the game. I really felt alone when I tried to talk to characters and they couldn't hear me.
I like the music as well, it really added to the feeling of being alone.

Good job! :)

What an interesting world! I loved the back-story and variety in interactions and locations. Things like the castle added a feeling that the world is bigger than it looks. Also the music helps a lot, as mentioned.

It did take me a while to figure out that killing the creatures got me coins somehow... I do wonder about the ethical repercussions.

Great game!
