Impressive work for 48 hours.
Platforming was solid, and the environments interesting.
I only lit a handful of torches before retiring.

Played through it there. Got a bit of backtracking fatigue.
The pearl one seemed a bit fiddley - it wasn't until my xth attempt that I figured it out.
I forgot for some portion of the game that i could press s to use an object (possibly because some objects don't have uses). I spent a while trying to drop a stone onto the bird's head :P
Wonderful game! Really, the animations, the graphics, the game idea in general, and its execution, it blew me away! Thanks for the game, and congratulations.
Three comments:
* Maybe you should move the reset key away from the command keys? I'm clumsy and reset the game one or two times while playing it. :-(
* I was getting movement keys stuck a few times while playing.
* You should cut some of the "sleep time" away from the timelapse ;-)
Cheers,
Amazing game for 48 hours loved the different environments.
but the jumps from screen to another screen really screwed me over...
This was great! It felt like a full length game rather than a LD game. I think I've played commercial NES games less intricate than this. I really liked the concept (it reminded me of Pikmin), the execution was great at all levels, and I loved all the little details like the day/night cycle. I liked the (theme-appropriate!) idea of a time management obsessed caveman.
I like speedrun games so I had a lot of fun with this. After several games I managed to win for the first time at 11:05 AM. I think I might be able to get it before 11 AM if I try…
There were only a couple bugs I noticed. You could get the tasklist up at odd times (in particular you can get it up during the credits, in which case the word "Tasks." just floats on the screen, which is funny). It seemed odd (though necessary) that you could bring the torch underwater. Mostly there seemed to be some bugs around the dragon. I kept crashing the dragon, in which case you don't get credit for the riding "task". On one screen, once (I got a screenshot) I crashed the dragon and the game froze up-- the little star flew away, the caveman did not respond, the timer froze and the "r" key was unresponsive.
Fantastic job! Love the water mechanic, the variety, and the general level of polish. Excellent work! I finished by 5pm, great music at the end! :)
Great work, everything from gameplay to music looks good and works well.
It reminds me of Knytt :) And I love the megaman-ish landing animation. Those little things are what make a game play way better :)
Really SOLID platforming here. I dig the task system, but I wish I didn't have to backtrack so much. The water diving is fun as crap. Great game!
Fun and interesting, a bit annoying you can only carry 1 item at a time though. Good job!
I enjoyed the game : smooth controls and open world :) Not sure exactly why I was lighting the torches for but it was fun. And it's written in haXe :)
Nice platformer! Puzzles and water mechanic are quite good.
Really great, and nicely complete. I only tried it once, but couldn't find all the lanterns. Didn't feel up to going through the world again, though you managed to make a nice variety of small environments.
The sounds were generally well done. The jump sound effect annoyed me a little at first, because it sounded too much like my headphones were popping with static or something. It wasn't really a problem though.
Great job! The controls were super smooth and I loved your sprites and backgrounds. Sound design was superb as well.
Why did my beautiful green griffin beast have to die? I couldn't work out what to do with the pickaxe afterwards...
Very solid platformer. (Sweet Megaman jump)
