Your game is in the megapack, and played it before I saw this. Please please put it back in the running, even with the incomplete paths it's excellent!

I was genuinely touched by the low-fi beauty of the world and more importantly the excellent storytelling. I had to play it through several of times until I got (i think) all the endings. A very impressively large amount of content in the timeframe, and a significant achievement. Well done!

I eagerly anticipate the finished up version(and I'm not just saying that). It is a beautiful thing :)

Just putting a comment so this is Xed off in my list. Don't pull things out of the compo, that's just totally lame. You could've not done a final, if you really didn't want to submit. Lots of people finish up LD games, but that doesn't stop them from putting LD versions of the game up for judging.

Pathways, LoFi RPG Jam

Hey guys! I took part in the Roads Ludum Dare, but unfortunately withdrew my incomplete entry, Pathways. I’ve since finished it, and I thought some people here might be interested in it based on some of the comments that I got back then…

On a totally unrelated note, there’s a contest-like-event taking place this weekend that I’d like to let you know about – RPGDX are hosting a 48 hour RPG making jam! The theme is LoFi. More details here, if you’re interested! :)

Pathways (Demo)

It was a bit silly of me to try and make a game that was so dependant on content :( All the same, I’ve managed to complete enough of the game to demonstrate the concept I was going for. It’s about 50% complete!

I really liked where this was going, so I’m probably going to finish it sometime next week (and polish what’s already there quite a bit). Things are a bit rough at the moment, so it might be better to hold off playing it until then (unless you’re voting, of course).

This has been my first Ludum Dare, and it’s been great! I’m pretty sure I’ll be doing the next one. Good luck to everyone else who’s aiming to make the deadline! Can’t wait to check out all the finished games tomorrow morning! :)

[Edit: Decided to take down the link. I want to finish it properly and I’m not happy with a lot of the placeholder stuff in the game. Consider it withdrawn. Sorry ;-;]

[Edit again: I removed the final tag – hopefully that should take this off the voting list. Sorry if I pissed people off by removing it; I should never have submitted it in the first place.]

Hey LD peeps! Some really cool stuff being posted here today! :)

I’ve been working on something for this too, but I didn’t want to post until now because this is the first time I’ve tried taking part in Ludum Dare and I wasn’t sure I’d be finishing it – but it’s starting to take shape, so here it is:

It’s an experiment in non-linear storytelling – I’m taking a somewhat metaphorical approach to the theme, heh. Also there are actual roads in it, I promise!

I should have more tomorrow, all going well. I think I’m more or less done for today…
