neat idea!

negativegeforce says ...

rope physics ! Cool anime animation !

drZool says ...

Ahh only the endpoints of the wires makes it connected. I didn't get that until later in the game.

DraykDyna says ...

Very funny, and entertaining. I'd like to see a levelpack or something made for it, just to make it last a bit longer.

fydo says ...

Awesome! I had a lot of fun with this game, but I didn't really see the tie to the theme.

sol_hsa says ...

Nice game, took a while to figure out what I was supposed to be doing.. and didn't quite figure out what the chain reaction bit should have been.

TenjouUtena says ...

Level 5 didn't work or seemed hard. I couldn't figure out what the point was. The game has a lot of character.

BenW says ...

Really loved this one. The gameplay was original and
it was an interesting interpretation of the theme. I just wish there were some more advanced levels. Also , thanks for putting the music toggle in, no offense.

Hamumu says ...

Total abject theme failure. But what an awesome game! Super fun, awesome graphics, story mode, profanity, chomping wires in your teeth (and just chomping your teeth freely whenever you wish!), time attack mode, nice play control, and wiggly wire physics.

I really want to learn flash.

saluk says ...

Really fun, I'd like about 100 more levels pleez :)

SethR says ...

Damn this game, I just can't figure out how to make the wire actually connect. I mean, I stick it where it looks like it's connecting but nothing happens.

Yeah I'm retarded or whatever.

Sweet story board intro!

gimblll says ...

Funny story and was fun to play too. Needs more levels! Took a while to figure out on the first level, that what I need to connect, but after that it was fun. Music was horrible, but gladly it could be toggled off. Great entry, if only the theme would've been electrics or something? :)

Deepflame says ...

Hehe, so much foul language, RockStar Games should consider employing you. ;)

One of the more funny games to play, a sound, polished game, there's thought that went into level progress, ie; no complicated gameplay elements introduced all at once.

Too bad you completely ignored the theme. :(

chaotikZA says ...

Awesomely fun and funny! Pity about the theme...

midwinter says ...

hmm for some reason it says the ZIP file is damaged when I try to download it? :(

mjau says ...

Nice game! It was fun, if a bit short. I wish the wires didn't just hang straight down all the time though, would've been nice to have more possible ways to connect them and such. Also, where's the chain reactions? Couldn't see any.

The music set the mood nicely at first but then got really repetitive and annoying really fast, so thanks for including the option of turning it off =]

Wiering says ...

Nice implementation of the ropes. I couldn't get through level 4 (or 5?).

DrPetter says ...

Really cool in many ways. The wire dangling is great, and the puzzle element is just right - not too hard but not trivial either. Took a while before I figured out how you actually made connections properly, maybe the connector pods should light up when in contact with a wire or something to make it a bit more clear?
Music does get a bit tedious after a while, but the metallic "clang" sound helps build some atmosphere. Overall very good. "Butterfly ninja" (I don't care what you call it, that's what I saw) was a nice touch and boosted the humor points ;)

greencow says ...

when fairies and ninjas collide, hilarity is assured, super!

Ok, so here is my first ever ludum dare game, finished with time to spare!

I realise that the connection to the theme doesent hit all the way, I definately have chaining in there but not quite as many reactions, but hopefully you will find it fun.

Game Stats:
Genre: Puzzle/Platform Adventure
Runs On: Windows (let me know if you want it on mac, I might be able to do it ^_^ )
Tools Used: Flash CS3 Pro, Photoshop CS3 extd, Fireworks CS3, DrPretter’s sfxr and musagi
Trivia: my first ever ‘music’ so I made sure to include the option to turn it off.
More Trivia: The Evil Fairy Ninja is real, be afraid ne-er do wells!

umm, I think thats about it, enjoy playing :)

edit: oh ya, better post a link to the game huh =p http://www.sophiehoulden.com/randomstuff/ludum/RamuhShmoo.zip

well I’m a little late to the party blogwise, anyhoo, heres a piccy of the game, I just got multiple wires working without too much fps loss (hey its flash, 20fps isnt that bad, heck its capped at 30 =p).

so I felt like putting wires up around the place :)
