I’ve written a postmortem for my LD10 entry you can see it on my website here. I’d repost the whole thing here, but I’m lazy.

I loved how I was completely lost when it started, but after 30 seconds I had it completely figured out. Great execution. Keyboard seemd a bit unresponsive at times when you would've liked to do just one step to some direction. Great sounds!

Clearly the most experimental game in this contest - and a good one.

cool game. i like what you did with the sounds, there. my gf will probably get addicted to this :3

Niftyorooney!

Great concept, and well executed. Letting the player deduce gameplay mechanics through experimentation is fun, if it works... in this case it does. Nice and short turnaround time between sessions makes it suitable for highscore runs.

(Note, I haven't bothered to try this on a computer with a speaker, so I haven't voted on sound. I'll get that later >_>)
But yeah, what DrPetter said.

Very good use of the theme. Very simple, yet clever gameplay. Neat and stylish graphics.
The somewhat un-responsive controls lowers the score a bit.

This is a really fun, novel (at least to me) concept. Difficult, but keeps you coming back. I really like the music, and the graphics -- they're simple, but really work very well!

I feel the level is too much random to be fun, you cannot get good at the game, it seems it's just luck how long you last.

Good fun - well done!

Pleasing graphics without any pictures? That must be cheating ;)
A good and addicting game.
Update: REALLY addicting.

Interesting game. There seems to be a little problem with the input which makes it frustrating sometimes.

I got 1:16. I think I comprehend the game... it's similar to Mr. Driller (but backwards mentally and sideways physically). I don't know if it's that exciting to me... I guess it's that it's much more tactical (responding to your immediate circumstances) than strategic (nothing to consider for the long, or even medium, term at all). Combined with the visuals and audio, that makes it a real zone-out game.
It's really original, really stylish, and I think it will be one of the top 'sticky' games of the compo, that people will replay and try to improve in.

Very neat.

Very fun.. nice job! :D

Thanks for fixing the debug dll stuff.
Earned you a nifty rating, very well done ;)

this, is pure awsome wrapped up in win, I'm hooked!

Great game! It's fun. Gets addictive when you've figured out what to do =)
An idea, maybe you could be getting points for large combos? Space could rotate colours in stead then maybe, so you'd have some control and could set up large combos while trying to survive. That'd be a bit different though =)
Anyway, I really like this. Well done!

its the most simple game in this compo, but yet a very good one. Nice job

Once you get the hang of it, the game makes a lot of sense, and is a lot of fun. Great job. Could really have used a tutorial, and needs some re-playability.
Very daring concept, tho

A nice game, and noone knows wtf you're doing while you're playing it, making you look "Oh, so pro!". ;)
greencow says ...
nice nice!

Hmmn.. I didn't quite get it. But I thought the music and sfx mixed in with the game were great!

If you were having trouble running my final entry please download it again. I accidentally linked to a debug dll in the release version of my game. I have since fixed the problem and it should run on most peoples machines. I have also tested it under parallels with dx support and it runs fine. Finally I have not received any reports of it working under wine. If you manage to get it running under wine please let me know.
X-Out and I were playing lerc’s game and he was having a problem solving one of the levels so I started to post a screenshot of the solution. He solved it before I could post but since I had already started I finished off solutions for all six puzzles.
Solutions are after the jump.
It’s done and you can get it here. It may not work if you don’t have visual studio 2005 installed. If thats the case I’ll try and upload a working one asap.
Here’s my game over screen. Once again, it looks the same as every other screenshot I’ve made.
It may look the same but the gameplay is much more fun now.
It’s almost playable and all the music and sound effects are in.
