    Finished! Blob Blob TROUBLE!

    This was my first game development competition. I exceeded expectations about my game. I managed to complete before deadline and still there is over 2 hours left. Thanks for everybody, what a great event!  Now go to play Blob Blob TROUBLE! :P

    Im very suprised how much I have already done. Finished the player and also first monster included and attacking. Short coffee break now.

    First time and quite excited! Tools i’m working with:

    • Engine: Unity (C#)
    • Graphics: Wings 3D, CorelDRAW X5 and GIMP
    • Sound effects: http://www.bfxr.net/ probably

    Spent time with warming up yesterday and today. Really I just tried to improve my weakest points. Been months since last time I did some 3D modelling, so I modelled the player and textured it for my warmup “game”. Then I made simple animations for the player and controls for it. Also I had to figure out how Unity’s particle system works. Finally I imported the titlescreen and made a GUI.

    Actually I didn’t have enough time to make a proper warmup game, so it’s just a guy walking on a plane.
