The Adventures of Sam Carlisle: The Hunt for the Lost Treasure
Description
This is a top-down fast-paced puzzle game with a bit of a story arc. You’re a guy trying to avoid the evergrowing darkness and complete each level / part of life as fast as possible.
Space Honey: The adventure of little-bee (COMPO ENTRY)
I hope I posted correctly on the new ludumdare site..
At first I was (as always) with problems with the chosen theme. (Not knowing how to get out of the cliche).
I really enjoyed doing this game because i get out for my comfort zone. I’ve never done a graviade system like this, and usually my games are full of screen shake, and dash killing something.
I would also like to thank my girlfriend for helping me with the idea of the game, and for the sake of comprehension, because I used a weekend that I would spend with her to spend in front of my computer. :p
I do not understand how the game will be played, but if you want, you can go play and comment.
If anything comes later for the vote, I ask you to also vote. 😀
HOW TO PLAY:
The game was very casual (for now), all you have to do is go to the planets, pick up the nectar from the flowers, and deliver to your hive. Among the planets, some bees that steal honey are flying from one side to another, you need to divert them so you do not lose the honey you are carrying.
Later, in a pos jam version, I will implement some things to attack other bees.

About Audio
Unfortunately I could not produce any music in time. I’ll post a post-jam version later. =/

Ok, here’s an update: D
I’m falling asleep here .. I’ll take a break, and when I wake up I’ll finish the rest.
I am getting very satisfied with the result!
New Update (now its a Space-Bee game + planets)
You are a bee, and need to pick up nectar, and carry to your hive
Not much for now, but I am almost half way of finishing this very simple game!
Now, all I need is the art, music, and level!
After a good night’s sleep (4 hours) thinking about what to do, I think something has finally come up!
I hope you understand my drawing here, but in short, you control the space ship, which takes effect from gravity and need to carry the soldiers of color X, to the planet of color Y (yes, they hate each other and want to kill themselves).
For now the idea is this, and i hope it will be fun as it is in my mind. haha
(if anyone has any more ideas, please let me know 😀 )
It my first Ludum Dare experience
wish me luck!

I am a full time 3D Graphic Artist for a games studio in Australia but recently in the last two months I have picked up teaching myself C# and Java for Unity.
The lead up for the game Jam has given me a goal to learn code fast in my spare hours , just in time for Ludum Dare 38

Yes… This will be a nice weekend!
Last 3 LD’s I did not finish (did not really participate) because I had so much “non Ludum Dare” stuff to do…
But this time I blocked the whole weekend…
My Moto*: Make LUDUM DARE great again! 😉
This time I will join as “Hackschnitzel” (on the new site) together with my cousin “Codetoffel”.

Hi Ludum Dare! We’re a queue management system looking at these events. Weird, right?
I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post something like this, but here goes.
I hope the moderation team will allow me to share some words of encouragement.
Hi Ludum Dare community!
I’ve only heard and read about Ludum Dare, and as a gamer, I think it’s fantastic there are communities like this.
I’m Hyun from Qminder, a startup based in Estonia…
This is a bit of a meta post, but I hope I can encourage all of you out there.
I wanted to talk to all the creators, developers, writers, artists, musicians, and even lurkers:
What do you want out of these events?
If there is some financial motivation involved…
Just know that people on the lookout do drop by here.
Looking to work on your own things? Looking to get hired? Partnered up? Network?
Right now, we’re in that situation. I’m looking for a producer to make a ringtone for our queue management system.
It’s hard to imagine, but seeing how many talents are around here, I’m sure we’ll be able to find some people who can work with us!
So those who are working hard, grinding and hustling – keep at it!
You will be seen and you will be recognized :).
(Yeah, we’re not a Game Development company or anything, but just know that your talents can be used in more than just the gaming community!)
Good luck to all the participants!
I have created 7 levels for Gravity change, my game i’m working on for unijam.
Gravity change – working on my game for unijam
I’m working on my game, Gravity change for unijam.
The game has custom gameplay mechanics, such as gravity changing.
The main quest is reach the enemy’s computer and bypass the security.
during this year global game jam i had a group with no artist; as a gameDesigner i wondered if i can make something up with voxels.
i’ve always been attracted by the minimalistic representations thess little cubes offers.
what was my surprise to discover that the free program “MagicaVoxel” is so easy to learn and allows to export obj ready to be used in unity. (with textures and materials aswell)
i’m sharing here my last creation just for fun. Any advices to improve my voxel modeling skills ?
(please be gentle im no artist in GamDev )
