Update 3 (No Internet)

I officially finished my game about 5 hours ago, but had no internet connection.  Glad to be back before the dead line.  My tower defense game and my first Ludum Dare is complete!  Not too good on graphics, but I believe the gameplay makes up for it.  I give you Minimal Defense!

Update 2 (Name and Bullets)

I’ve come up with the name “Minimal Defense” for my tower defense type game.  I’ve also added a title screen, a minimalism painting, and a bullet system.  Now comes waves and a score.  The score will work by getting 1 point every time a bullet you fired hits an enemy(who at this point I am calling Materialists) and losing 1 point every time you miss.  I hope this will force the player to not spam bullets(which adds to the theme).  Finally I have added an extra defense mechanism which slows down the Materialists, but only on one side so you will have to use it wisely.

I wasn’t able to get started until around 2 yesterday, and I spent most of that time thinking of an idea, but the basics are done, and I am ready for gameplay.  I am planning on making a tower defense type game that rewards you for preserving ammo.  At the moment though, it is just a lot of prancing men.
