Day 2 Progress

So, today was quite productive for me, as I managed to get pretty much all of the core game mechanics implemented.

This leaves the entirety of tomorrow to work on sound and music, as well as other polishing that I might want to do. That really is fantastic, I think.

Enemies are working; AI is done. All the graphical art is done. Huzzah!

Welp, after a good 4 hours of work on the thing I’ve got the basic framework down.

Tiled maps get loaded in now, as well as the player.

Also worked on the wheelchair, but as you can probably tell, I’m not much of an artist. The map tiles still need to get drawn up. I think I’ll probably just go for some solid colours. I honestly don’t think I’m going to be able to draw up good looking terrain otherwise.

I have high hopes, at the very least.

I’m in

I’m in for this weekend. First one, quite excited.

I will be writing the thing in Dart, as I’ve written so much Javascript in the last few months that writing more of it would probably not be conducive to good mental health. Seriously.

Ready for music production if I have time. I will be using FL Studio, since I’ve used it for many years. You have no idea how much time I spent getting ASIO to work with OBS. For crying out loud.

Code will be on https://github.com/WinMac32/LD32. Already have a little boilerplate code on there because boilerplate bores the heck out of me.

So yeah, lets do this thing.
