resource loading mechanics in place (finally) and man it already takes a long time to load. Hopefully I won’t have to load more than one font and I can keep that time roughly where it is. Hopefully. Now for real gameplay!

Okay so I’m thinking of going with You Only Get $1 to spend on saving your deathly ill mother’s life. I’m going to make a very simple point-and-click timed and budgeted game, and try to avoid making it too complex. Woo! I’m psyched.

Ludum Dare 28

Hello all,
I’m going to attempt an entry in this season’s Ludum Dare compo. I’ve tried previously yet haven’t finished a single one, however I feel up to the challenge. I will be using Java in Eclipse with the Lightweight Java Gaming Library and perhaps the Slick library, too. For graphics I will use GIMP, and for sounds SFXR and/or just my mic. Good luck everybody!
