Our submission to LD35 is this little action game called Project GR.I.L.L. We’re quite happy with the game as it turned something funny to play, and quite retro-esque. If you didn’t try it yet, it’s a top-down shooter with rogue-like elements, where you play as an experiment that can shift between different forms (each one with their own stats and attacks).

We’re working right now on a post-compo version of the game, with some new features that we feel the game lacks. It will be available before 30th April. We will post here when this new version is ready, for anyone who want to play it! 😀

G.R.I.L.L. (Genetic Reconfiguration of Inestable Lovely Live) is an experiment that can change forms when it gather enough energy, each form has different habilities and behaviour. Help G.R.I.L.L. escape from the labs, fighting security robots and finding the ID cards!!

Becky’s Adventure in Mirrorland – Platformer made by Vctr_seleucos with Music by Lo8its – Jam Entry

This is it, folks! My game is finished! My first LD game! I dunno if it fits the theme perfectly, but i’ve done the best i could! Great experience, learned a lot and had a lot of fun too!! 😀

The main idea of the game is to keep going through dimensions/levels (each one with a different esthetic), but if you’re not skilled enough the game is a constant loop. You must break the circle!

Have fun!

Every comment and rate will be welcome. And if you detect a bug/glitch, tell me and i’ll try to fix it as soon as possible 😉

Also the updated version contains:
-Instruction section added, for knowing what to do.
-Little clarification in the goal of the game.
-Reduced the volume of the sfx.
Still, if you want to play de original game made in 72h, download the original version 😀

Small update!

Ok, folks! Time for a small update! In the last 12h, i’ve finish all the enemies sprites and the terrain. Pretty happy with the result. Also make the title screen, a small intro and a pause menu.  I’ve decided to submit my game into the Jam, not the 48 compo. I need ‘s aid w/music, and some extra time for levels!

Ok, folks! Progress since LD started: made some sprites & coded all of main mechanics (not all are in the gif). Things still to do: more graphics, menus/title screen, boss(¿?), some dialogue and implement a bunch of levels I made on paper. But now, i going to sleep xD
