The engine¬†we’re going to be using is:

  1. Game Maker: Studio

The Programs we’re going to be using are

  1. Game Maker: Studio Master Collection
  2. Photoshop CS6
  3. FL Studio 12

Good luck to those who compete!

[MiniLD #48] The End.

Sunday, January 12th, 2014 9:44 am

And so, it ended…

I couldn’t complete the game in time, and I lost motivation due to not really knowing what theme I was following anymore. It’s a darn sham too since I was enjoying the challenge so far…

Ah well, until the next!

[MiniLD-48] Game: Five — Progress, at last!

Saturday, January 11th, 2014 11:50 am

Darn midi music keyboard was messing up, so it’s taken me a good while to finally get everything started…

Here’s what I have so far, the lighting took the longest I’d say, but in my opinion it looks pleasing.

And here’s some music I did in about 15 minutes!

[MiniLD #48] I’m in.

Friday, January 10th, 2014 1:12 pm

I had a great time with LD #28, although I made a few amateur mistakes since it was my first ludum dare and in fact, my first ever public released game. so I’m gonna chill and do LD48. :3

I’m going to be using:

– Game Maker 8.0
– Audacity
– Fruityloops 10
– Photoshop

I’m not sure on the theme yet, but it might be 3D.

Finally Finished…

Sunday, December 15th, 2013 9:42 am

Well, this has been great, and I’m finally done!

I’d be lying if I said this hadden’t been a lot of fun, but I think I could of done much, much better — I just got a late start.

My final verdict of my own product is as so: It could of been MUCH, MUCH more…
Music: Average
Graphics: Horrible
Plot: Reasonable
Game-play: Crappy

End of the day, for me…

Saturday, December 14th, 2013 10:40 pm

Seven hours work… This has taken way too long, but at least I’ve finished the main idea. now all that’s left is polishing, and fixing my darn grammar… I think I’ll probably join in on these in future, as it has been fun.

Here’s a video to the project so far, there’s not much, but there’s another 5 choices after that first one I show (Not showing all because Spoilers. :3 ):

Honestly, I’m happy with it — But I made it, so of course I’d be happy with it.

My flaws in game making are obvious, I’m horrible at making graphics. They only took me 34 minutes.

Here’s a time schedule so far:

Graphics: 34 minutes
Sound: 20 minutes
Writing: 50 minutes
Scripting: 4 hours
Tea breaks: 1 hour

First Ludum Dare, and a very late time start!

Saturday, December 14th, 2013 5:32 pm

Heh, I didn’t think I’d actually be attempting this, since it’s nearly 00:00 where I’m at, and there’s only a day and 3 hours to go!

I’m not really sure what to put in these, but I figured I’d post it as marker of when I started, since I can’t stream or anything due to bad internet…
I also possibly have the most cramped work space ever!

Hopefully I can think of something original and compelling!

UPDATE: (one hour later, I didn’t have much wrote for a post last time…)
Unfortunately I haven’t managed to get much done, a little music which you can hear at: -MEDIAFIRE LISTEN LINK-
