The ONE extra file I used for my game had a bug in it. I had used it many times before and not encountered the bug. Spent way too long thinking it my code. In a good mood now, hope everyone is happier than I was.

Few things anger me as much as bugs in the LD
After a short panic when my game turned out to not be fun, I have improved the difficulty curve, and have all basic gameplay functions working. Now I need a menu, good(ish) art, and to make you be able to lose. Also a score system.
The game so far:
You can move around, put out fires, and build walls collected from breaking other walls.
All that is left is most of the game play and good art.
I’ll be using:
LOVE2D
Sublime Text 2
Paint.net
sfxr if I do sound
and some files I wrote that are worse than other peoples but I made them.
If you want the files for some reason: https://github.com/thedashdude/LoveHelpers
I made a smaller game than usual because it was my first time in lua and kind of burned out. On the plus side I have a complete game in only 24 hours.
My game is a puzzle game where shapes move according to how many points they have, so check it out if you want.
I will be using:
Love2D,
Sublime Text 2,
sfxr or bfxr,
paint.net.
This is the first time I wont be using game maker, so my game probably isn’t going to be spectacular.
I have a collision detection file in lua for love2d that I made a bit ago. Am I allowed to use that to detect collisions in my game? Do I need to post it online beforehand? This is for the Compo.
I slept in on accident, and have things planned until after the compo ends starting in two hours. This is going to be tough. I currently need a menu, make the levels a little more balanced, and add sound. Yipee.
Made progress, have an idea for a puzzle game, but it may not pan out. Good night and good luck!
I have a play to go to on Sunday and dinner plans, so I am going to have to work extra hard on Saturday.
I will be using:
Gamemaker, sfxr, maybe paint.net but I am not a good enough artist for it to matter.
Good luck!
It took a lot of work to get the level editor down, but I am done!
Please check out HAUNT.
Now to take a nap.
After 37 hours of almost continuous coding I have a fun game with sound effects, pretty pictures, a level editor with import and export. Decided I added all I felt like adding. Good luck to those not done yet!

Ghosts are monsters right? I seem to be the only person with a ghost.
I will be using GameMaker Studio, sfxr, and either the default sprite creator in GM or paint.net, both of which are way to fancy for my skill level.
