One more day of jamming left. All the basics working now, some final art and polish left to go. Running out of steam a little bit. Have decided to drop the ‘balancing scene’, which would of been the funnest.  Probably won’t end up doing any sound. Good luck to everyone out there still pulling things together. 72 hours can sure feel like a long time.

Elephant is go.

First LD Jam. First Haxe project.

Have placeholder elephant. Have water. Water is unconventional weapon #2 of #3.

Elephant will escape at all cost. Elephant has a Companion but this is a coincidence. Elephant have may been Abandoned in his childhood, this is also a coincidence.

Elephant looks forward to meeting you, although elephant is :( that next time you may not recognize him as elephant will be all grown up, hand drawn and not scraped from Google. Elephant is calling me now so I have to go.

First LD, we’re entering the Jam as a father and son team.

Using something like.

  • Language: Haxe with OpenFL
  • Code: Sublime Text 2 / Vim
  • Sound: SFXR,  Audacity, ?Microphone
  • GFX: Gimp, Flash CS6

Haxe is brand new to both of us. Basic plan is to get plenty of sleep, keep the game simple,  share all the roles, do some pair programming, and let the theme decide the style of game. Will probably do all our own graphics and sound.
