Made it to the finish line!

I’m pleased to present ‘Pax Extraterrestria’, my first LD entry. The basic premise is you play a Roman soldier, who was captured from his time and put on display in an alien zoo. You must hack and slash a way back to your place in time.

I spent way more time on artwork than I would have liked (I’m a terrible artist), but overall I’m pleased with the player’s design/animations. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to finish Zeus, who was planned to make an appearance as an ultimate ability (by offering the souls of the slain for a screenwipe), so next time I need to strike a better balance between art and gameplay.

It’s been an interesting few hours brainstorming ideas. Just finishing up the player character design/walk cycle before I get some shuteye.
