I’m in for the jam! (most likely)

Unfortunately, I didn’t have much time nor inspiration to do something for LD30, but this time, I should be in…

 

Tools of the trade:

Engine / Framework: Unity / Phaser (Or my game framework which automagically does networking (if I get a couple more features done and decide to go for multiplayer))

Graphics: Gimp / Inkscape / Blender

Audio: Audacity, Zynewawe Podium

So I’ve actually managed to finish on time… I’d like to redo some things, mainly music / sounds, but I’m really glad I managed to finish a somewhat decent project in less than 72 hours…

This was my first LD and it has been a wonderful experience being a part of it… I’ll probably do a postmortem today / tomorrow.

So at this point I’m most certainly going to go for the jam as I’ve only got some basics fleshed out…

So the idea is that there are those little things which feed on asteroids. If two asteroids collide, they battle out for control over both asteroids. If one side wins, the asteroid gets incorporated in their own and the eaten part gets lowered depending on the eaten part of the other asteroid. The goal is to survive for as long as possible…

So I finally woke up and got some ideas for the actual gameplay…

The basic idea is that there are microorganisms which feed on asteroids they live in…

So I finally decided to enter LD! (I’ll most likely end up in the jam, though)

 

Tools of the trade:

– Probably Unity & C#… I might go out of my comfort zone and end up with pygame or Phaser or something entirely else for that matter…

– Blender / Gimp / GraphicsGale

– A combination of Zynewave Podium, cgMusic and my guitar…
