Well, okay, “done” is not even remotely a word I’d use to describe the game, but I’ve finished a playable version complete with some menus, a campaign (of sorts) and burning ships.

Here’s a quick video of some simple gameplay. Next step is to work more on enemy spawners so I can get something a little more interesting than a single column of ships.
It’s not really anything resembling a full game yet, but there are things that move and you can shoot them:

I’m not entirely sure where this is headed. But without sails the boats themselves are probably headed nowhere
