Yay! Right now the core of the game is ready. Need to polish some elements (like the graphics, add some sound fx, and other things). Enjoy!

This is what our game looks like right now. Need to do the buttons, weapons, change the enemy sprite, add the intro menu, specify the rules and polish some of the code (if I can)…. So much to do…

Right now i’m waiting for my GF to start with the designs, so, right now i’m in the brainstorming time.

The tools that we’re gonna use are:

  • Construct2 (thanks to the last LD for the license discount ).
  • Pickle – PyxelEdit
  • Balsamiq Mockups (for the brainstorm)
  • SFXR (Great Tool!, thanks LD)
  • Internet (duh…)
  • Some other design programs.

(It took me more than 10 seconds to write this post, damn!… Oh, idea!… Not…)

After 1 and 1/2 day (and a lot of pizza pieces) I can finally say “Here’s the demo”! (Well, it’s a pre-demo, still working in the conditions of winning, the ending, credits, improve the title screen and fix the bugs). The minimalistic concept cames in make a simple game (without enemies and simple rule) and it has to be available in most of the platforms. So, we (my GF and me) made it in HTML5, using Construct2.

Hi everybody! Finally, after a few tries this is my first time participating in Ludum Dare. Right now i’m developing the main idea of the game. Thinking of an idea of a minimal concept is hard, but that way we can explore new things, so i’m really excited 😀

About the game I’m developing with my GF, we have an idea of the main concept. After this couple of hours wasted in eating pizza (yeah!), now I’m thinking of the mechanics and the gameplay meanwhile my partner is busy with the graphics meanwhile we’re listening chiptune music.

Here’s a photo of the concept of the game (with an initial name). We’ll keep you informed about the milestones of the game.
