It’s true

I have a very basic enginey thing, but no way I’m going to get decent gameplay in. Don’t know whether to keep working on it during the time allotted, or cut my losses and do productive things instead.

Well, it could theoretically be advantageous for me to add the theme into my game. Meaning that I forgot.

I wonder if just having an optional pong minigame would suffice. My original idea was themed, but it got shifted out for a more pure financial simulation focus (With zany antics, of course)

Ugh, gotta think of integration possibilities.

Just finished with an extended intro sequence, which also doubles as showing the credits and structuring the ingame days. Pretty nifty if I do say so myself.

 

Now I’ve just got to get a complex economic simulation up and running, and I’ll be golden.

I wasn’t really feeling the previous idea, a continuation of a series of surreal horror games I’ve been making for Mini LDs, so I’m shelving it for a zany office sim instead. Realistic Office Simulator 2015! (Working title)

Might get something done before tomorrow evening, might not. I’m maybe out though. My motivation just drained away this afternoon, and although I have a pretty solid platforming/fighting engine, hell if I know what I’ll to with it.

 

So, if I’m struck by something cool in time, I might still enter otherwise, I’m out.

I’ve got some dummies in that you can beat up. Attacks are working well, and the movement feels smooth and fun.
