That’s the new approach being taken. We want to focus on actually coming up with some form of conclusion to what we are creating, and polish it.

Progress as its it stands:

Programming – 80%

Graphics – 10%

Sound – 60%

Story – 50%

Also have a few more rooms to make at the end, insert story points.

After that, finish off sound, add in graphics and polish!

So, got to be up early and with all the snow in the UK, work is going to take time in the morning.

Did more work than I expected (13 hours!), but didn’t get as far as I thought we would. This is my first real time i’ve created a game so I guess i’ll learn with experience.

Nevertheless, I’m happy with the progress we’ve made in day 1. Just 2 days to go!

Slowly but surely…

Working through slowly, and idea keeps changing. Jamming with a friend on this one.

The general gameplay has become quite random, three different types through are planned! =/

Still haven’t come up with a title…

Right, decided today that i’m going to enter, only in the Jam though. Really looking forward to this though, but feel super newbie.

I plan to use Game Maker 7

Might take a timelapse, but haven’t done one before, might use Chronolapse.

Sound Effects: SFXR

General Background Music: Wolfram Tones

For art/images/sprites I’m gonna use Paint.NET

Other than that, I’m just going to get to grips with some of the software I’m new to, try my best and have fun!
