Day 1 is over. I have a working smartphone and 3 minigames installed :).

Tomorrow I will need to make some icons and art in general and finalize the minigames. If there is enough time I will add sounds and maybe one more minigame.

Just woke up and its time for some brainstorming. The theme is very easy if you take it literary, even my first and previous submissions fit, but it is really hard to come up with something unique. I have not yet decided what language or tools I will you use, probably Construct 2 or jMonkeyEngine, depending on my idea. Good luck to everyone!

It’s been 14 years since the convergence. On 1/1/2000 00:01 the portals opened. Portals connected to any world imaginable. And then they came. We run. We hide in the dessert for the last couple of years. But they found us. They are coming for us. I am the first line of defense. It’s time to defend ourselves…

A small teaser for my game, no images yet.

I use Construct 2 for the game and will propably use gimp for the graphics.

Ludum dare 29 is over for me. It was fun, but its time to get some rest.

My game is called “Escape From Beneath”. Lean more and play it here.

If I had more time I would make the levels more complex and interesting and I would add some sounds.

I hope to make touch controls for mobile devices tomorrow, as part of the porting to different platforms.

I’m in for second ludum dare. Not many ideas for the moment but I’m sure I’ ll come up with something interesting. I’m hoping for a prototype by the end of the day. I will be using construct 2 and gimp for now.

My first Ludum Dare comes to an end. The game is about your hungry pet dragon, that you must guide to food every 10 seconds.

A New Day

This is my first Ludum Dare. I woke up 7 hours after the theme announcement. The theme was not my favorite but after an hour I had an idea and i started working on it.

The idea was to create an old school racing game similar to Road Fighter. You had 10 seconds to reach the next checkpoint and every 10 seconds you would get a new power up. It would also have some vehicular combat.

But there was a big problem. After 4 hours into the project I saw that playing the game made me dizzy. So after 2 more hours I decided to stop working on this game.

 

Today I have a new idea and is time to start from scratch.
