Our game is nearing completion. It was probably far too ambitious on the code end, but thanks to the power of caffeine, I was able to power through it. Little bit more to go, and this game will be available.

In the meantime, enjoy the sights of the title page, drawn up by our fantastic illustrator.

After some painful setbacks with the Unity Asset Importer crashing (Wasted six hours of precious AI development time), I’m behind schedule. There are 24 hours remaining, and I have a pathfinding system to build, among a handful of other, smaller details.

So I’ve got coffee, high-energy music, and the determination to not sleep until the end of the Jam.

Bring it on.

It’s currently not too clear, but that li’l guy is holding a controller. Still a lot of work to be done, but progress is progress. Also, I apparently have the tendency to leave the cursor right in the middle of screen captures… My bad.

We’re a group that has been together for a couple months, currently working on our first major game. Personally, it’s the first time I’ve worked with a devoted group of people, and it certainly makes some aspects a lot easier. I’ve only participated in the previous mini (MiniLD58) as a test run, and this will be the first LD for all of us. It’ll be the ultimate test to see how well we do together on a project, from start to finish, and it’s looking like it’ll be an awesome experience!

IDE / Language : Unity3D / C#
Art : Photoshop, GIMP, and possibly MSPaint
Music : Ableton
Sound Effects : Audition / Audacity / SFXR

In addition to this, I intend to enter the Compo by myself, so I’ll essentially be making two games in three days… Oh boy. :)

Circular – 48-hour test run

Finished and submitted this game this morning around 8am or so, figured I’d make a post as well. After looking into participating in the next main LD with a group I’m working with, I figured I would use this Mini as a personal practice round. So this game is the result of 48 hours of development.
