It might run a bit crazy on your box I had the sensitivity turned way up on the slow box I was developing on. When running on a faster machine it was unplayable.
For Ludum Dare 30
REQUIRES JAVA
Double click on jar file to run.
Software used
jMonkeySDK Java coding and modeling
LMMS , Audacity Sound
GIMP Graphics
Blender modeling
Created at 10bitworks.com San Antonio Hackerspace

Warmup My First Unity Android Game
I tried making a Flappy Bird Clone. Let me know what you think. Its for Android. (Unity, Blender, GIMP, sfxr). My Highest Score is 21

I used Blender to make the animation and rendered it as orthognal then used a GIMP plugin to turn individual screen renders into a sprite sheet.
This tutorial helped a lot http://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/modules/beginner/live-training-archive/infinite-runner.
I used the admob plug which went in really easily.
I still am a bit confused on picking resolution of the camera to stretch based on size of screen.
I am also confused on how to add images to google play store. seems to show the same one over and over.
The file size is 8 megs most of all just the standard unity libs , it seems a bit big for mobile but you get a lot of features for that size
I was most impressed with Unity sprite editor and animator
Thanks for trying it out. Good luck to everyone.

Note: Hard is really Hard.
I used
http://www.melonjs.org/
Blender – Modeled and Animated in Blender then Saved as Sprite
GIMP to make the Tiles Images
LMMS to make background Music
Since this is a web app you can just grab the js from the page source

I really enjoyed making the game. This was my second ludum dare and I think it went a bit smother.
I had fun using jmonkey here is some of my PM notes
Good:
The blender importer is freaking awesome. I was able to model and get the models into the game with ease once I figured out the gotcha
Enjoyed using LMMS for music even though I did not create much its still fun.
I used the Blender UV exporter for all of my textures so i save some time doing that. Also it gave it a nice lonely feeling.
Bad:
I still dont know how to use Nifty. lots of things I wanted to do I could not figure out. Maybe someone could make a video tutorial on some nifty basics.
I didnt get a chance to do any animation.
I had in mine a whole second level for the game but ran out of time.
To the Ludum dare peeps : Thanks for having this website

Its open source and I’m still not sure how I want the game play to work.
If you want to help me succeed in the October Challenge you can donate here
